Go For Baroque is a modern rendition of a pendant necklace mimicking the extravagantly ornamental Baroque period in Italy in the 1700’s. The two different sizes of bezels in this piece are Melanie’s innovative use of the classic chevron chain netting.
Creating both bezels is relatively quick and fun beading. There is so much open work on the design that is goes very fast. It is a lovely piece being fun to bead as well as totally flashy to wear. It hangs comfortably, although ornately.
The bale on the backside of the pendant fits any neck wire you would like to hang it on, or you can bead the chevron chain necklace included with the kit. Many types of neck wires will show off this pendant if you want to mix it up you can bead the kit chevron chain necklace, and change it out with your favorite silver or gold neck wire based on your mood and outfit.
The matching earrings are very simple and understated, and go with the whole baroque look very well. This is a great kit to take on that vacation with you or even bead for a friend as a gift!
