Grecian Wave Cuff

This glitzy Grecian-inspired cuff features a three-dimensional medallion with a decorative wave pattern on the front and back sides. It also boasts a unique butterfly clasp combined with a button-and-loop closure.

This Grecian-inspired cuff is an instant classic. It glimmers with metallic cylinder beads and small zircon cup chain embellishment. The focal medallion is three-dimensional and features the same decorative wave pattern on the topside and on the underside. The clasp features an original design combining a button-and-loop closure with a butterfly fastener.

The Greeks have stood as giants among civilizations because of their brilliant reasoning in literature, architecture and art. Especially fascinating is their graphic depictions on their beautiful edifices which reveal a genius and elegance that deserves admiration and study.

The scroll, a form among these depictions, is expressed abundantly in their decorative body of work. The wave motif is considered a running scroll which is an ornamental element consisting of spirals and rolling incomplete circle motifs. The most recognizable type of scroll is depicted on Ionic columns.

These types of graphic works have a natural and balanced feel to them since they are oftentimes found in nature; consider an ocean or snail’s shell.
