What fun this piece was to create! The inspiration came from the BBC miniseries House of Elliot, set in the post WWI time period. The gorgeous period wardrobes in this classic costume drama were a delight to watch! Common in the 1920’s era were long svelte necklaces and Swinging Starlets has its genesis from examples in this bygone era. Small bezeled stars arrayed on a fine beaded chain create a long luxurious necklace suggestive of the 1920’s. This flowing necklace ends with a fringed tassel that adds oscillating swing to this piece.
