Honeycomb Lace

Inspired by the delicate mass of hexagonal cells in honeycombs, this design features an array of hexagonal motifs. The chain is a lineup of hexagons. The clasp and three pendants in front are made-up of hexagons within the context of a larger hexagon. Round pearls are used to embellish the center and edges of the pendants as well as the chain. A drop pearl dangles at the bottom of each pendant. A matching set of earrings is included with this design. Techniques used to create this piece include chevron chain, peyote, fringing and picots.
